University of Notre Dame - Customer Case Study

The University of Notre Dame Athletic Department wanted to deepen fan engagement by quickly delivering richer, multi-screen football content while keeping publishing costs low and empowering its in-house creative team. Working with Joe Zeff Design, Notre Dame set out to build interactive tablet apps that went beyond game-by-game coverage to provide season reviews, immersive multimedia, and frequent, shareable updates.

Using Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (Enterprise Edition) and Adobe InDesign, the team launched the BCS Gameday app in 11 days and followed with an Interactive Yearbook and weekly “Go Irish” folios featuring video, panoramic imagery, 3D elements, live social feeds and custom templates for staff to build content. The apps drove strong engagement—11,000 downloads in two weeks, 74,000 total app launches, and more than 1 million content impressions—while enabling faster, cost-effective publishing and plans for 12 interactive game-day issues during the season.
