University of New Mexico standardizes on Document Cloud to streamline enterprise document workflows

The University of New Mexico (UNM) needed a way to modernize document-heavy processes across campus and the UNM Health System, replacing slow paper-based workflows and supporting remote operations during COVID-19. As an Adobe Creative Campus, UNM expanded its use of Adobe by adopting Adobe Document Cloud, including Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Sign, to improve efficiency for departments handling everything from tuition and scholarship paperwork to admissions and healthcare forms.

Adobe implemented a phased rollout with training, department champions, and integrations into systems like Jaggaer and Huron. The results were faster, more secure workflows across hundreds of users, with some purchase agreements returned in minutes instead of weeks and signature turnaround time improving by at least 20%. UNM also kept admissions and childcare registrations online during shutdowns, helping maintain continuity and improve service for students and families.
