University of East London digitises workflows for optimal efficiency

The University of East London (UEL) needed to streamline workflows, improve coordination, and reduce its reliance on paper as it managed documents for more than 17,000 students and international partners. In December 2020, UEL partnered with Adobe and began using Adobe Acrobat Sign to replace slow, paper-based signing processes across student forms, contracts, agreements, and tenancy documents.

Adobe Acrobat Sign helped UEL speed up approvals, improve security and trackability, and support remote signing across departments. Since implementation, UEL has seen a 119% increase in electronic signature usage, saving over 110,000 hours and delivering more than £90,000 in positive financial impact.
