Switzerland’s second largest telecommunications company drives its digital transformation with Adobe Marketing Cloud and SAP Hybris

Sunrise Communications, Switzerland’s second-largest telecom, serves over three million customers across multiple brands with a compact team of about 1,750 employees. Facing the need to digitally transform its business, the company set out to relaunch its entire online presence in four languages, simplify complex back‑office workflows, and deliver consistent, personalized customer experiences across channels.

Partnering with Namics, Sunrise implemented Adobe Marketing Cloud (Experience Manager, Analytics, Target, Campaign) tightly integrated with SAP Hybris and created a cross‑functional “Customer Journey Factory” to redesign processes. The new platform went live in 15 months and delivered strong results: mobile traffic doubled (mobile share rose to 44.5%), page creation time improved 66% (12h → 4h), load times fell from 4.2s to 1.5s, smartphone purchases were cut from 10 steps to 3, online store NPS increased from 31 to 45, and the system achieved 99.99% availability during peak launches.
