Syneos Health, a global biopharmaceutical solutions organization, faced the disruption of canceled internships during the COVID-19 pandemic, which especially affected minority students and reduced pathways into creative careers. Through its Black Employee Resource Group and diversity and inclusion initiative, Syneos Health launched a mentorship program to support and recruit underrepresented creative talent, including work on a nonprofit campaign for City Living NY.
Adobe helped by providing free access to Adobe Stock video and image assets so the interns could complete the TV commercial without filming original footage. With Adobe’s support, the team produced a locally aired TV spot that raised awareness for foster children transitioning into adulthood, while also reimagining paid ads and social branding; the program further strengthened mentoring and recruiting efforts through a summer ebook and broader talent outreach.
