SPAR Information and Communication Services (SPAR ICS), the IT arm of the European grocery and convenience retailer SPAR, needed to respond to digital disruption and diverse local shopping habits across markets. SPAR ICS implemented Adobe Experience Cloud (Experience Manager with Assets and Sites, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics) with Adobe Consulting to centralize content management (about 500,000 assets), build localized sites and recipe portals, and use analytics and recommendations for personalized experiences. The initiative drove a 50% increase in customers at a digitally enabled Vienna store, delivered higher sales and better shopping experiences, and positioned SPAR ICS to support global expansion and ongoing innovation.
