Sonoma State University streamlines processes, reduces costs, and supports sustainability efforts with Adobe Acrobat Sign

Sonoma State University, a California campus focused on sustainability, needed to improve efficiency while reducing paper-based workflows and costs. To address this, the university turned to Adobe Acrobat Sign to replace manual, paper-heavy processes with digital signature workflows that were faster, more secure, and easier to use across departments.

Adobe implemented Acrobat Sign to support electronic signatures, bulk sending, identity authentication, and automated routing for HR, biology, and other teams. The results included onboarding about 250 employees a year more smoothly, sending 1,000 telecommuting agreements in just two hours, and cutting a biology packet process from weeks to five minutes. Sonoma State also reported fewer errors, lower printing costs, better student and staff experiences, and strong gains in sustainability.
