SoFriendly - Customer Case Study

SoFriendly, a product design agency serving startups and enterprise clients, struggled with a slow, trial-and-error VR design workflow that made it hard to test experiences before coding and often led to costly rework. The team needed a better way to keep designers, developers, and clients aligned while designing both 2D and 3D/VR products, and they turned to Adobe XD to improve the process.

Using Adobe XD and Adobe’s prototyping API, SoFriendly built DraftXR, a plugin that lets teams design, test, and share VR UIs and move from a 2D design to a full VR prototype in just a couple of minutes. Adobe helped SoFriendly achieve faster prototyping, better client alignment, and fewer miscommunications, while also inspiring other workflow tools like Yac for asynchronous messaging.
