San Diego State University (SDSU) needed a better way to manage the many paper-based workflows supporting its 34,000 students and 3,000 faculty and staff, from HR onboarding and enrollment to travel approvals and donor agreements. The university turned to Adobe Acrobat Sign as part of Adobe Document Cloud to help create a more efficient, paperless campus and improve everyday interactions.
Adobe implemented digital forms and e-signature workflows across SDSU, allowing documents to be routed, tracked, and signed from any device. The results were significant: new-hire onboarding dropped from 30 minutes to 10 minutes, bulk HR form processing went from a full day to a few hours, class add/drop petitions were completed 93% faster, and travel approvals were processed 96% faster.
