A Adobe Case Study
Rural King, a Midwestern farm and home retailer founded in 1960 with more than 110 stores, faced manual, fragmented backend processes that made omnichannel selling and servicing a massive catalog impractical. The company needed to improve web and mobile experiences, automate fulfillment and inventory workflows, and gain a 360-degree view of digital operations to better serve rural customers who research online and pick up in store.
Working with Creatuity to migrate to Magento Commerce and integrate partners like LogicBroker and Akeneo, Rural King automated order routing, inventory checks, vendor onboarding, and reporting via custom middleware, while improving search, mobile usability and BOPIS. The results: a 34% increase in online revenue, 95% of stores reporting higher traffic, broader vendor participation and more efficient fulfillment that reduced costs and improved in‑store pickup and inventory visibility.
