A Adobe Case Study
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the largest U.S. philanthropy focused exclusively on health and health care, needed to replace an outdated, forms-based website with a more dynamic, scalable platform. RWJF wanted dispersed program teams and grantees to publish complex research and data-driven stories easily, reuse content components, create on‑the‑fly visualizations, and follow a simple editorial workflow without heavy technical support.
Working with Velir, RWJF rebuilt the site on Adobe Marketing Cloud/Adobe Experience Manager (Adobe CQ) with DAM, Social Communities, SiteCatalyst and Solr, plus a custom DataHub for interactive maps and charts. The new drag‑and‑drop, in‑place editing experience plus integrated analytics, social feeds and mobile previewing delivered faster pages and greater engagement—driving about 35,000 unique daily visitors, higher page views, an author‑empowered publishing model, and streamlined social and mobile delivery.
