Retail Apparel Group uses Magento Commerce to bring their fashions into a mobile future

Retail Apparel Group (RAG) is Australia’s largest menswear specialist, operating brands such as Tarocash, yd., Connor and Johnny Bigg (and later Rockwear). By 2016 their six-year-old proprietary e‑commerce platform was outdated, not mobile‑friendly, slow to implement features and limiting omnichannel growth—so RAG needed a future‑proof, responsive solution with streamlined checkout, better site search and robust tracking to support an ambitious phased roadmap.

RAG partnered with Netstarter to migrate to Magento Commerce, delivering a responsive UX overhaul, faceted and Elastic site search, enhanced merchandising, click‑and‑collect, promotional rules and checkout optimization. Launched after six months, the new platform drove major gains: organic traffic +336%, paid traffic +184%, page views +99%, improved conversions and positive customer feedback on the mobile experience.
