rbb’s TV and radio programs are enhanced with online portals managed by Adobe Experience Manager to help ensure up-to-date content and ease of use

Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) is the public broadcaster for Berlin and Brandenburg, operating TV channels and six radio stations with a large, multilingual online presence. Faced with constantly changing multimedia content, high data throughput and peak traffic spikes, hundreds of editors and strict content-rights and expiration rules, rbb needed a real-time, high-performance web platform that could be updated during live operations and serve diverse audiences on desktop and mobile.

rbb migrated and expanded its use of Adobe Experience Manager (Adobe Marketing Cloud), adding integrations and custom enhancements from Condat and Büro am Draht to import production data, manage digital assets, control caching and enforce rights/expiration rules. The overhaul centralized content management, enabled responsive multimedia features (live streams, timelines, mobile-optimized media), improved peak-time performance and editorial workflows, and delivered consistent, reusable content across sites while reducing maintenance and operational costs.
