A Adobe Case Study
KADOKAWA CORPORATION, a major Japanese publishing and entertainment company that consolidated nine brand companies under its “One Company” strategy, faced fragmented creative-software versions and decentralized license management. Different departments standardized on different (often older) software, creating hardware compatibility problems, excess license purchases, time-consuming administration, and compliance risks.
By adopting Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise and centralizing control with the Adobe Enterprise Dashboard, KADOKAWA standardized licenses, eliminated redundant licenses, and simplified provisioning. The move reduced upgrade and maintenance costs, improved production efficiency and version compatibility, strengthened compliance, and expanded access to a broad set of creative tools for new workflows—resulting in strong uptake (550 Adobe ID requests in the first month).
