A Adobe Case Study
Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, a polytechnic college in Oakville, Ontario, sought to give students and faculty reliable access to industry-standard creative tools while reducing licensing complexity and cost unpredictability. The college faced inconsistent software availability from one-off purchases, limited off-campus access, and the need to standardize applications across programs to support its embedded curriculum and strong graduate employment outcomes.
Sheridan signed an Enterprise License Agreement with Adobe for Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection and adopted a download-once, deploy-everywhere model, enabling campus-wide and off-campus access, simplified rollouts, and discounted student purchases. The agreement delivered predictable budgeting and streamlined license management, standardized software across courses, improved the learning experience, and better prepared graduates for the workforce—helping sustain high placement rates and industry recognition.
