Penn State prepares students to solve future challenges by transforming curriculum with Adobe Creative Cloud

The Pennsylvania State University faced the challenge of preparing 100,000 students for careers that largely don't yet exist by moving beyond basic digital literacy to true digital fluency—removing barriers to creative work, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration, and training students in emerging media such as 360-degree video and immersive storytelling.

Penn State partnered with Adobe to provide Creative Cloud enterprise licenses to all students, faculty, and staff and integrated apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects into courses across disciplines. The result: students gained practical visual-communication skills, learned new technologies and mediums, collaborated on real-world projects, and were empowered to create anywhere—better equipping graduates to solve future problems and convey complex technical ideas.
