A Adobe Case Study
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) oversees roads, transit and traveler information for the state and runs a high-traffic website that can see up to 100,000 home‑page views during weather events. Its eight-year-old site had grown to roughly 870 pages, making key travel, safety and business information hard to find and slow to update, so the agency set out to streamline navigation, simplify content publishing, and improve accessibility and mobile readiness.
NMDOT implemented Adobe Experience Manager within Adobe Marketing Cloud and completed a full redesign and rollout in six months, training about 25 content publishers to create and publish updates directly. The new site cut content to 72 pages, reduced clicks to find information from seven-plus to one or two, accelerated time‑sensitive publishing, and delivered a more usable, scalable platform that supports accessibility and future mobile and analytics initiatives.
