A Adobe Case Study
Liebherr, founded in 1949, is a global leader in construction and heavy machinery with roughly 42,000 employees. The company needed a scalable, global B2B e‑commerce solution for spare parts across eight divisions to improve customer experience, speed up ordering, reduce costs, integrate service partners, handle complex customer-specific pricing and roles, and tie into its Baan ERP system.
Working with netz98, Liebherr deployed Magento Commerce to deliver an asset-driven purchase flow, part-number and schematic search, complex rights-and-roles management, negotiable quotes, and ERP integration. Launched in six months, the platform now serves 1,600 connected customers and partners, supports 40 store views across its B2B divisions and lists 17 million SKUs — reducing errors, speeding orders, and supporting the company’s growth.
