Preview of the Lenox Case Study

Lenox Corporation modernizes its IT infrastructure with a focus on enabling sales and customer service via the web

Lenox Corporation, a long-established maker of luxury tableware and gifts (brands include Lenox, kate spade new york, and Gorham), faced a shift in consumer behavior as younger customers moved to online shopping. To support B2B and B2C commerce, preserve existing web applications, and build company-wide business intelligence, Lenox needed to modernize its servers, storage, networking, and overall IT infrastructure.

Lenox upgraded to Adobe ColdFusion Enterprise (2016 Release) and is converting external B2B and supply-chain sites while planning migration of internal BI, intranet, and change-management tools; a dedicated ColdFusion team integrated the platform with the company ERP and new hardware. The migration accelerated development, simplified integration across systems, delivered stable long-term web applications, and helped attract and support digital customers—building on nearly two decades of ColdFusion use.
