LeasePlan, a global leader in fleet management with 6,800 employees managing 1.4 million vehicles, needed to speed up thousands of procurement contracts while meeting strict Dutch banking regulations. Its procurement team relied on manual routing and Excel tracking, causing long signature delays as key executives travelled and consuming time that could be spent improving services.

LeasePlan implemented Adobe Sign (Adobe Document Cloud) to enable mobile e-signatures, automated tracking, and regulatory-compliant workflows. The change cut average contract turnaround from 23.5 days to about 4 days (an 83% reduction), allowed executives to sign anywhere, freed the procurement team for higher-value work, and in a UK pilot enabled over 1,010 contracts in one quarter with turnarounds shrinking from seven days to four hours; integration with Salesforce is planned for broader rollout.
