In early 2012 Adobe teamed with the Global Society for Digital Marketing Innovators (SoDA) and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to run an HTML5-Off Challenge aimed at raising awareness and increasing click-through rates and online donations. Agencies were invited to use Adobe Edge Animate to redesign portions of the CMN Hospitals site; Adobe partner Terralever entered the contest.
Terralever delivered an immersive, colorful HTML5 experience in under a week, using Photoshop to create layered frames and Adobe Edge Animate to build an animated timeline that guides visitors through the donation journey and deepens their connection to the cause. The winning design—now live on the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals site—places the donation link on every page and adds playful animations to boost engagement, which the organizations expect will improve online donations.
