La Redoute, a leading French online retailer with millions of customers and thousands of products across multiple country sites, needed to modernize a slow, inflexible in‑house publishing tool. The company faced challenges managing multilingual sites, large volumes of product data and images (hundreds of thousands of items and pictures), and relied on manual processes that slowed launches and peak‑season updates.
La Redoute implemented Adobe Experience Manager (integrated with its Millena platform) to centralize digital‑asset and web content management, automate workflows and bulk updates, and manage multisite publishing. The new platform sped content publishing, reduced manual work, improved responsiveness during peak traffic, and dramatically increased capacity—enabling about 30× more products online (targeting over a million listings), higher productivity, and simpler cross‑country content sharing.
