KfW Bankengruppe, simplifying employee work

KfW Bankengruppe, Germany’s national development bank, faced growing friction from hundreds of internally used forms created in different tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint, InfoPath) that became incompatible after an Office upgrade. The fragmented approach caused processing errors, frequent IT support requests and a need to centralize and standardize form management to speed workflows and reduce costs.

KfW implemented Adobe Experience Manager forms (Adobe Marketing Cloud) with partner Formatix, converting core templates to smart, PDF-based forms—50 forms in three weeks—and adding features like Excel integration, automatic emails and uniform logic/design. The result was improved usability, fewer errors and support calls, standardized processes that lower long-term IT costs, and a roadmap to extend automation and backend integrations.
