Kärcher supports a growing company by centraLizing gLobaL software License management with an Adobe ETLA

Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG, the family-owned German maker of high-pressure cleaning equipment with about 12,300 employees, was growing rapidly and struggling to manage software licenses across its global organization. Centralizing procurement at headquarters reduced fragmentation but created administrative burden and made it hard to predict licensing needs and budgets during dynamic expansion.

Kärcher implemented a three-year Adobe Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) for Acrobat Pro DC and uses the Adobe Admin Console to assign licenses worldwide. The ETLA delivered predictable, term-based budgeting, flexible license limits to scale with growth, reduced local admin effort, and improved international workflow efficiency and security—prompting Kärcher to consider extending ETLAs to other Adobe products.
