Jockey, the heritage undergarment brand founded in 1876, set out to strengthen its growing e-commerce business but faced a crowded online retail environment and a small team tasked with managing thousands of paid-search keywords. Paid search drives roughly a quarter of Jockey’s e-commerce, yet manual bid management was time-consuming, inefficient, and led to advertising spend rising faster than sales.
Jockey implemented Adobe Advertising Cloud Search with Adobe Sensei to automate bidding, apply performance optimization and spend recommendations, and reorganize search portfolios by engine and keyword type. The AI-driven approach improved return on ad spend, cut annual ad-spend increases from 21% to 1.4% while maintaining strong sales, and freed the team to focus on strategy, testing, and customer experience improvements.
