Case Study: ITV saves 3.4M pieces of paper and speeds contracts with Adobe Sign (Adobe)

A Adobe Case Study

Preview of the ITV Case Study

ITV uses Adobe Sign to help produce the biggest shows with the smallest environmental footprint

ITV, the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster reaching over 20 million viewers weekly, set ambitious sustainability targets including zero waste by 2030. The company faced a major challenge: paper-heavy processes across production, business affairs, HR and legal created waste, slowed workflows, and posed data retention and security risks—especially for fast-moving productions and remote talent.

Adopting Adobe Sign to digitize contracts and forms solved those issues, cutting contract-preparation time by 82% and getting 80% of contracts signed within two days. Now used by 800+ staff, Adobe Sign saves about 3.4 million pieces of paper a year (≈280,000/month), plus 360,000 gallons of water and nearly 20,000 lbs of waste monthly, improves security and auditability, and speeds mass distribution (e.g., Bulk Send to 150 University Challenge participants) and remote signing for productions.
