Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB), the state development bank for Berlin supporting SMEs and startups, needed to digitize its customer-facing application processes. Customer workflows were fragmented by browser incompatibilities, manual steps and high error risk, while consulting remained largely in-person and processing workloads grew despite a steady headcount.
IBB implemented Adobe Experience Manager Forms within Adobe Experience Cloud and built a customer portal with an information glossary and middleware integrations to SAP, CRM, Schufa and KfW. The result: dynamic, responsive web forms and centralized form administration, form‑creation time dropped from half a day to five minutes, processing times fell by more than half, and standardized forms reduced errors and increased online adoption.
