How iconic Canadian retailer The Bay implemented a collaborative workflow with Adobe XD

The Bay, one of Canada’s most iconic department stores, needed a better way to support its fast-growing ecommerce and digital marketing efforts while improving collaboration across design, marketing, and development teams. Working with Adobe and Adobe XD, the company looked to streamline its workflow, strengthen communication, and create more effective bilingual content across English and French.

Adobe implemented a collaborative Adobe XD-based workflow for The Bay, including hands-on onboarding through the XD Instructor Program. The new process enabled interactive prototyping, easier stakeholder buy-in, and more realistic reviews of designs, helping The Bay launch successful 2020 and 2021 holiday campaigns; the microsite’s strong interactive engagement made the project a reference point for future digital work and helped expand the brand’s content strategy beyond product promotions.
