Beer Hawk is a UK-based online retailer founded in 2012 that curates and sells craft and specialty beers from around the world. Rapid growth—hundreds of thousands of transactions and major retail partnerships—exposed limits in its Magento Open Source store (three million lines of code), causing instability, slow performance and technical debt. The company needed a more reliable, flexible e-commerce platform and better ways to help customers discover beer by type, brewery or country, while connecting online and in-store experiences.

Working with Pinpoint, Beer Hawk upgraded to Adobe Commerce, streamlined store views and categories, added Nosto personalization and Klevu search, and enabled Click & Collect and experiential retail. The changes drove major gains: +57.8% year‑on‑year revenue, +29.4% website conversion rate, +9.1% average order value, and a 39% reduction in page load time, while search users convert at three times the rate of other visitors.
