How Allegion turns users into fans with its unique approach to UX design

Allegion, a global security company with 11,000+ employees and more than 30 brands in over 130 countries, needed to create a more consistent, user-first digital experience across a complex mix of products, brands, platforms, and languages. To support that challenge, Allegion’s design team turned to Adobe XD and its design system, Project Phoenix, to help scale a cohesive UX approach.

With Adobe XD, Allegion rebuilt its component library to use features like component states and easier sharing with developers, making the design system more scalable and easier to implement across apps and websites. Adobe helped Allegion’s team collaborate more effectively with front-end developers, reduce confusion during iteration, and extend Phoenix beyond product UI into marketing assets like landing pages, emails, imagery, and illustrations, improving consistency and enabling faster delivery.
