How Accordant and La Trobe University pulled off a record-breaking virtual Open Day

La Trobe University needed to replace its traditional in-person Open Day when COVID-19 made campus events impossible, while still creating an engaging experience for prospective students across Victoria. Working with Adobe partner Accordant, the university used Adobe Experience Cloud tools to build a digital event approach that could support personalized outreach and registration at scale.

Adobe and Accordant implemented a highly customized Open Day website and multi-channel campaign using Adobe Advertising Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Audience Manager, Adobe Campaign, and Adobe Target. The result was a record-breaking digital event that delivered 157% more leads than the previous year, cut cost per lead by 91%, and reduced overall operating costs versus physical events.
