A Adobe Case Study
Green Mountain Technology & Career Center (GMTCC), a rural vocational high school in Hyde Park, Vermont, needed to prepare students for further education and in‑demand digital careers while closing opportunity gaps for students with limited local internships or resources. The challenge was to teach real‑world, industry‑standard skills and extend learning beyond the classroom using tools that employers and colleges recognize.
GMTCC deployed Adobe Creative Cloud across its labs and student devices through Adobe’s VIP licensing, integrating apps such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator into project‑based coursework. The result: cost‑effective access ($25 per student), students earning college credits and producing award‑winning work (PBS screenings, SkillsUSA placements, Congressional Art Show winners), and graduates launching freelance and professional projects with strong creative and technical readiness.
