Janus Health, a San Diego–based provider of in-home medical care, needed to help housecall physicians deliver quality care anywhere while meeting strict Medicare and privacy regulations. Traditional office-centric healthcare software and heavy paper workflows (about 26 pages per new patient) made mobile practice inefficient, hard to track, and difficult to keep compliant.

Janus built JanusOS, a web-based EMR RIA using the Adobe Digital Enterprise Platform and Adobe Acrobat Pro to automate business processes with dynamic PDF forms. The solution reduced 26 pages to a single integrated form, sped record updates (three times faster), streamlined compliance, automated ordering for prescriptions/imaging/equipment, increased daily housecalls, lowered Medicare administration costs, and is now used by practices nationwide.
