FX Network - Customer Case Study

FX Network, the cable channel behind hits like Sons of Anarchy, American Horror Story and Justified, needed to extend viewer engagement beyond weekly broadcasts by delivering distinctive, show-specific digital experiences across web and mobile. The challenge was to create compelling apps, games and microsites that resonated with fans, encouraged social sharing and drove tune‑in — all while meeting tight production schedules and deploying efficiently across many devices and platforms.

Working with agencies BLITZ, HUGE and Stink, FX used Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash Professional, Flash Builder, AIR, After Effects) to design and build cross‑platform apps and rich‑media experiences such as Justified: Target Practice, Sunny Soundboard and the American Horror Story Family Portrait. The integrated workflow let small teams port apps to iOS and Android in hours, meet aggressive timelines, generate social buzz, cost‑effectively extend the network’s brands and deepen multiscreen audience engagement.
