A Adobe Case Study
Late Night with Seth Meyers, launched in 2014 in New York, faced the challenge of building a fast, reliable post-production pipeline for a daily late‑night show while adopting a new non‑linear editor. Associate Director and lead editor Dan Dome needed to support team collaboration, integrate remote segments, graphics, and live theatrical content, and consistently meet tight nightly delivery deadlines with high production quality.
The team implemented Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise—using Premiere Pro, Prelude, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition—creating tested project templates, SAN-based media management, and a marker-driven ingest workflow to streamline edits and audio mixing (including 5.1 stems). The result: the first late‑night comedy show to launch on Premiere Pro, a repeatable workflow that enabled cross‑show collaboration, seamless integration of graphics and remote pieces, and consistent, high‑quality audio/video delivered on deadline.
