Event apps drive customer engagement

JWT/Casa Miami, a digital marketing and mobile-technology agency, was commissioned by Adobe to build an interactive iPad app for the 2013 Adobe Digital Publishing Summit. The challenge was to deliver a polished, fully functional conference app on a tight timeline that clearly demonstrated Adobe Digital Publishing Suite capabilities—direct entitlement/restricted distribution, social integration, push notifications, real-time content updates—and to drive attendee engagement before, during, and after the event.

Using Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (Custom Store, Direct Entitlement, Restricted Distribution, social networking) and Adobe Analytics, JWT/Casa Miami delivered a branded app with session schedules, speaker bios, note-taking, presentation downloads, live social feeds, in-app networking and push alerts. The app met the deadline, drove strong engagement (about 700 attendees and 2,000+ downloads), enabled immediate survey feedback and near‑real‑time updates, validated DPS for corporate events, and generated new client opportunities.
