Educating tomorrow’s creative leaders

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is a private, nonprofit institution with multiple campuses and online programs that prepares students for professional careers in art and design. Faced with the need to ready students for cross‑disciplinary careers, ensure equal access to current industry tools (including for distance learners), and speed proficiency while improving workflow and creativity, SCAD sought a way to standardize and extend Adobe software across its community.

SCAD signed an enterprise licensing agreement (ELA) to provide Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection on campus machines and for student download, giving faculty and students the same, up‑to‑date industry tools. The integrated toolset (and features like Dynamic Link and Adobe Media Encoder) accelerated learning, built cross‑disciplinary skills, removed access barriers, increased workflow efficiency, and encouraged greater engagement with industry‑standard software—helping graduates become more marketable and career‑ready.
