A Adobe Case Study
Larcier Group, a Brussels-based legal publisher established in 1839, serves Belgian judges, lawyers, notaries, and other justice professionals with time-sensitive bilingual (French/Dutch) journals, codes and directories in print and online. Because legal content has a short lifecycle and the firm publishes hundreds of thousands of items monthly, Larcier needed faster, more automated workflows that kept quality high and training/support costs low.
By integrating Adobe FrameMaker with its content management system and using XML-driven templates, FrameScript, SmartPaste and other Creative Cloud tools, Larcier automated conversion of verified legal data into final page layouts and PDFs. The new workflow sped publishing cycles by up to 60%, reduced manual checks, kept content current across communities, enabled new targeted titles, and supported large volumes (200k+ pages/year) while preserving cost-effectiveness and bilingual output.
