Deakin University, a leading Australian university with about 53,000 students, needed to engage prospective students across a lengthy (up to two-year) decision process and differentiate itself by delivering personalized, cohesive experiences across channels while targeting candidates most likely to enroll.

By adopting Adobe Experience Cloud (Advertising Cloud, Analytics, Audience Manager, Target, and Sensei) Deakin stitched together CRM, web and marketing data to create tailored cross-channel journeys—notably re-engaging people with unfinished applications via personalized site experiences, ads and email. The initiative generated nearly $1M in additional revenue, improved targeting and enrollment, delivered personalization at scale, and freed marketing teams to focus on strategy and innovation.
