Creatives need a robust middle platform

DiDi Chuxing, the China-based mobility service provider, faced new creative and communication challenges during COVID-19 as its teams shifted to virtual collaboration. According to Creative Design Director Liu Jialun, online-only workflows made brainstorming, cross-team coordination, and staff communication less efficient, while also stretching the company’s already long workdays.

To address this, DiDi emphasized building a stronger “middle platform” for its creative organization, using Adobe tools and support to unify resources, provide better technology, and improve content and thinking support across teams. Adobe helped DiDi boost efficiency, reduce duplicated effort and costs, and improve communication between departments, enabling faster response and more effective creative output in a smaller, more flexible work model.
