Collegiate campus stores boost online presence with Follett and Adobe Experience Cloud

Follett, North America’s leader in collegiate retail, needed a more scalable and personalized way to manage more than 1,100 campus store websites for 900+ institutions, especially as COVID-19 increased demand for digital shopping. Using Adobe Experience Cloud products including Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics, Follett sought to replace a generic, hard-to-update system with a modern ecommerce and content platform.

Adobe helped Follett launch a redesigned, mobile-responsive site with modular UI components and a headless CMS approach that enabled fast, no-code updates and campus-specific experiences. The result was a 40% year-over-year increase in conversion rates, an 85% boost in online orders and revenue during the pandemic, and support for peak traffic of 80,000 visits and 9,000 orders per hour.
