Coca-Cola delivers a refreshing D2C approach across Mexico to win Experience Maker of the Year

Coca-Cola needed to modernize its 10-year-old direct-to-consumer “Coca-Cola en tu Hogar” program in Mexico, which relied on call center and walk-up orders and lacked centralized customer data. Working with Adobe and partner Bounteous, the company set out to create a better digital buying experience and improve fulfillment for bottled water and beverages during lockdowns.

Adobe helped Coca-Cola transform the service using Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Commerce, with future plans for Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics. The result was a fast-growing eCommerce business with 18% higher average order value, triple-digit growth in website traffic, and a 45% increase in new accounts within 12 months, while also expanding access to rural customers through geofencing improvements.
