A Adobe Case Study
Clark County School District, one of the largest districts in the U.S., serves more than 306,000 K–12 students across 350+ schools, including specialized career and technical academies. The district needed to better integrate traditional academics with career-specific training, boost student engagement, attendance, and retention, and prepare graduates with marketable 21st‑century digital communications skills.
CCSD adopted Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection across its academies to deliver hands‑on, project‑based instruction (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash) and real‑world client work, internships, and certification opportunities. The approach created an immersive, technology‑rich curriculum that increased engagement and achievement — yielding nearly 99% average daily attendance, an 89% retention rate, and 40% of one senior class earning a GPA of 3.9 or higher.
