Card Assets, a division of First Arkansas Bank and Trust based in Atlanta that provides branded credit cards through about 450 community banks, faced slow, error-prone paper-based credit applications that delayed credit checks and approvals and increased operational costs.

Working with Finivation, Card Assets built an online application and integrated Adobe Sign—requiring only about 10 hours of programming—to automate signatures and credit-check approvals. The new workflow lets customers sign anytime (including on smartphones), cuts approval times to as little as 10 minutes (vs. 24+ hours), enables the credit team to process 1,000+ transactions monthly, and eliminates most printing and postage costs.
