Canon Europe, already a long-time Adobe partner, set out under its "One-Canon" initiative to standardize desktop software across the region in preparation for a Microsoft Office 2010 upgrade. The goal was to minimize compatibility issues, simplify IT training and support, and reduce implementation costs while enabling secure, global collaboration for product collateral across 11,000 EMEA employees.

Canon rolled out Adobe Acrobat X using Microsoft SCCM, which sped deployments and ensured a smooth rollout. Acrobat’s Quick Tools, review/comment/stamp features, file‑combining and security controls improved user productivity, streamlined local editing and agency workflows, protected intellectual property, and cut training and support overhead.
