A Adobe Case Study
California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), a diverse public university with more than 40,000 students, set out to strengthen students’ creative thinking and workforce readiness while positioning the campus as a technology leader and improving administrative workflows. Leadership wanted to embed digital literacy across disciplines—not just in arts and design—to help students become better problem-solvers and more competitive job candidates.
CSUF deployed an enterprise Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud (including Adobe Sign), putting industry-standard apps on lab machines and available for personal download, and embedding tools into courses like Business Administration 300, UNIV 100 and English 101. Students reported stronger learning and job-market confidence (nearly 60% said Creative Cloud enriched their experience; 52.5% felt more competitive), faculty and engagement rose, and administrative efficiency improved dramatically—new-hire paperwork is processed about six times faster—while CSUF became the flagship campus for a systemwide Adobe license.
