Butler Community College stands out as the first Adobe Creative Campus in Kansas

Butler Community College, the first Adobe Creative Campus in Kansas, needed a way to boost digital literacy, support student success, and help learners build career-ready skills in a highly competitive higher-education market. To meet that challenge, Butler worked with Adobe and Adobe Creative Cloud, integrating tools like Adobe Express into Canvas and making creative technology more accessible across programs, from high school courses to design and language classes.

With Adobe, Butler implemented Creative Cloud licenses, Adobe Express assignments, and industry-standard apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD for students and faculty. The result was easier access to digital tools, more engaging multimodal learning, and stronger career preparation; Adobe research cited in the case showed digital tools can improve engagement and retention, and students with creative skills can earn up to 16% higher wages and see 2 to 3 times higher salary growth.
