Buffalo Studios - Customer Case Study

Buffalo Studios built BINGO Blitz, a live-action multiplayer bingo game played by millions across Facebook and mobile devices. The company needed to deliver a high-performance, cross-platform experience that supported hundreds of concurrent players and weekly content updates—without the cost and complexity of maintaining separate native code bases and repeated porting work.

By using Adobe Game Developer Tools (Flash Professional for content and Adobe AIR for deployment), Buffalo created a single pipeline that let one team rapidly publish simultaneous updates across desktop, iOS, Android and Kindle devices and cut development time in half. The game achieved 16 million Facebook installs (Oct 2010–Nov 2012), was a top-10 game in 2011, reached one million mobile installs with 180% mobile DAU growth in the first three months, and ranked as a top-grossing iPad board game and a top-35 Google Play app in 2011.
