Boston University prepares students to become digitally Literate communicators using Adobe Creative CLoud

Boston University, a large, research-focused university with over 34,000 students, sought to strengthen students’ 21st-century skills—especially digital and multimedia communication—while delivering consistent technical support across hundreds of programs and thousands of users. Faculty wanted a standard set of creative tools so classroom time focused on learning rather than troubleshooting and so students could build transferable communication skills across courses.

BU deployed Adobe Creative Cloud for enterprise to all undergraduates and faculty, paired with workshops and centralized support. The standardized apps and services (video, audio, design, and web tools) made multimedia assignments and flipped-classroom modules practical at scale, increased student engagement, simplified faculty support, and helped students develop industry-relevant digital communication and collaboration skills.
