Case Study: Boosted builds a central rider community and accelerates design iterations with Adobe XD (Adobe)

A Adobe Case Study

Preview of the Boosted Case Study

Boosted redesigns and prototypes community section of its website using Adobe XD CC to better engage alternative transportation enthusiasts

Boosted, maker of popular electric skateboards founded in 2012, wanted to bring its active rider community together online by creating a central hub that aggregated social content, enabled rider interaction, and supported a tight one‑month design timeline. The challenges were to centralize disparate social media content, foster community engagement, and streamline the design process to meet the deadline.

The team used Adobe Creative Cloud—primarily Adobe XD CC with assets from Photoshop and Illustrator and shared Creative Cloud Libraries—to rapidly design, prototype, and iterate. XD’s drag‑and‑drop workflow and shareable prototype links captured reviewer feedback in one hour, enabled faster iterations, and helped Boosted complete the design phase in four weeks while launching a centralized community hub.
